What do you include with a grooming?
- A grooming includes the following:
- bath
- clipping of the nails
- cleaning & pulling the hair out of the ears
- evacuating the anal glands
Does my dog need to have shots first before coming in?
- Yes, dogs must be updated with all shots and puppies need to have had the first set of shots
How long does it take?
- Each grooming session depends upon the dog. The time it takes is determined by the size of the dog, the type of haircut (if the dog is being trimmed or cut), whether the dog is an easy or difficult dog to groom, etc. Some dogs are finished within two hours and others may take up to five hours.
Can I bring my own shampoo/conditioner?
- You may bring in your own shampoo/condition particularly if your dog uses a medicated shampoo/conditioner from your veterinarian due to allergies or skin conditions.
How much will the grooming cost?
- Every grooming has a different cost because every dog is unique! The cost will depend upon the breed, size, haircut, style of cut, matting, etc.
My dog is all matted. Is it extra to brush the mats out?
- Yes, there is an extra cost for de-matting as this is very time-consuming. If you pooch is very matted and the mats cannot be brushed out, it may be necessary to have a haircut instead. (but remember, sweaters, dresses, and t-shirts always look adorable on any dog!)
